Can my sensor probe be extended?
Yes. If the floor sensor is not long enough, it can be extended. The floor sensor is 10′ long and can be extended up to 164′.
The floor sensor can be extended using AWG20 for extensions up to 65’. For extensions over, 65’ AWG18 is recommended. The sensor cannot pass through studs unless running through a conduit. The splice made must comply with code. Warmup recommends a maximum extension of 164′.
